Vhia, from Netherlands based Monkey Garage of the Fonts of Chaos collective and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-commercial license so check it out! What is Vhia? it’s a tribut to 90s sci fi – with its angular, goemoetric and futuristic characteristics. I could easily see this on an electro punk cyber techno record album sleeve. Old MONKEY GARAGE former member of the “KREW”, his course of the typography pass above all by his influence of urban art. “I am not a typographer, I do not seek to create the perfect letter. I rather work instinctively. It’s only after that I start to ask myself questions, and then it becomes complicated.” Download the VHIA TTF

Airstrip Four
Now arriving at Fontaday .. Airstrip Four from funky freeware font finagler Vic Fieger. It’s a nice clean face, techno influenced no-doubt about it. Rounded edges, straight ascenders, quirky angles. From afar it could be mistaken for something like Vag Rounded Black, but when you really look you see it has its own character and hard edged techno funky detroit-berlin-transeurope express-like spirit. Download Airstrip Four TTF and prepare for take off. (upper case is same as lowercase, has numerals, limited character set)
Molot
Molot – a nice, thick and heavy bold choice that would be a great display face – ideal headline – legible from a far poster for a techno industrial group, you get the picture. Upper and lower cases are the same, it’s got numbers and a little more. Not really a font for setting long passasges or big blocks of body copy. Headlines, meet Molot. from Russian designer Roman Yershov, Jovanny Lemonad. Download high quality OTF face Molot!
Horst Roman Gothic
Horst Roman Gothic from Cincinnati, Ohio based logo and type designer Christopher Horst “Horst is a world renowned logo designer, known best in the heavy metal community. He is most versed in, but by no means limited to metal, and he is eager to help you with all your text-based needs.” This one has a nice metal-edge with a gothic feel. Not a full upper lower case setup, but enough letters to set a headline or band name, etc. Check it out! Download Horst Roman Gothic TTF.
Minotaur
Minotaur is a nice display face from new york based painter/illustrator/designer Walter Velez.. What is Minotaur? It does have a familiar style – I think it’s sort of like ITC’s KABEL but a little more rough and primitive on the outside.. Download Minotaur TTF.
Takraf VEB
The Takraf font family is based on the old logotype from the VEB Schwermaschienenbaukombinat (DDR) and comes to us from Jan Sonntag at Sonntag Fonts in Laroque, France. This face is pretty unique in that it is supplied in four style that are very distinct – Takraf 3d (letterforms on 3d cubes), Takraf-Block (letterforms with dark shadows), Takraf-Linie (letterforms with shadow that is not filled in), anmd Takraf-VEB (letters are knocked out of solid, flat boxes). A solid choice for headlines, drop-caps, logo designs and anything that needs a firm blocky base. WIth its unique hard angular style this could fall into a more modern “dutch” type design category. Bicubik
We are hitting post one-hundred today, and it is the fine opentype face Bicubik from Russian font designer Jovanny Lemonad (Ivan Gladkikh). Vaguely reminiscent of Achaz Reuss’ FF Qtype Square, Bicubik is a nice legible sans serif face with a hard edge techy feel. Download Bicubik OTF.
