Birth of a Hero
Somewhere between the straight laced ITC Avant Garde Gothic Book and the funky Aaux Light with a little bit of dirty funk thrown in, falls Birth of a Hero. It’s a bit rough and grungy but has undeniable roots in those esteemed faces. This font is from the canadian designer known as Last Soundtrack, and comes with the usual upper and lower case letters, numbers, punctuation and some accented characters to take it around the globe. Download the Birth of a Hero TTF and enjoy your new rough grotesk face.
Coda
Poor Tom, work’s done, been lazin’ out in the noonday sun. Coda from Wilmington, DE’s Fonthead Designs is a super nice heavy duty industrial sans serif display face. posters – of course. headlines galore – naturally. signs – aw yah. well you get the picture, coda is pretty versatile and has a full upper and lower case, along with the usual numbers, accents, etc. so it’s easy on the eyes and easy to use. Download Coda TTF.
PK&co.

Pusab
Pusab is a fun one to kick off the weekend with, from Ryoichi Tsunekawa at Flat-It foundry in Japan. (Ryoichi also brought us the very nice sans serif Bebas that we posted a few months back). Need something fun, bubbley, bouncey, overstuffed and funky? Pick Pusab – a great font to use for cool bubbley headlines. Ryoichi wants you to smile. Uppercase, Lowercase (which looks just like a scaled down uppercase), lots of punctuations and accented characters, sure to lighten your design. Download Pusab OTF.
e-Brain 2.0
yes, another digital-blippy pixel font. I guess that there is a soft spot in my heart for these. I like it, here it is. OK? This time it’s e-brain 2.0 (a PUNKROCKTYPOGRAPHY.typeface) from Ohio based William Clifford, a real chunky nice blocky one that comes as bold angular outlines. Fancy making some techno CD cover artwork? this is it for you my friend. Download e-Brain 2.0 TTF font.
